Today we celebrate a tradition over 2,000 years old โ rooted in the story of Qu Yuan, a beloved Chinese poet who gave his life for his people. To honor him, communities across Asia race dragon boats and share Zongzi ๐, sticky rice dumplings wrapped in bamboo leaves, a timeless symbol of togetherness and culture.
In the spirit of the festival, our culinary teacher Christine Wong and Changjo came together on stage to make zongzi and keep these beautiful traditions alive. ๐ฅขโค๏ธ
Celebrating culture through food is at the heart of what we do at Skyview HIgh and we want YOU to be part of it!
